Is Boca Raton Growing Into a College Town?

Boca Raton is experiencing a rapid growth in its student population residents attending FAU, Lynn University, Palm Beach State College and several private colleges.  In the past decade, FAU’s student enrollment has increased almost 25 percent from 23, 819 to 29, 400 this year. The university has new housing plans to add over 1,200 beds in the first phase of Innovation Village Apartments this fall and more than 1,800 additional beds are expected in the next few years.
