NSU Students Provide Hearing Aid to Children of the British Virgin Islands

Students from Nova Southeastern University brought the gift of hearing aids and audiology services to children on their second misson to British Virgin Islands. The Audiology Department at NSU conducted the mission in October. The BVI does not have an audiologist.  As a result, hearing impaired children must travel thousands of miles to other countries for hearing services. Furthermore, some families’ financial difficulties or prevent them from seeking treatment. Thanks to NSU efforts, students have been able to assist those families and others cases where children have difficulties travelling.
